Second Round

I had my second round of chemo. This time using brand new port. They had some trouble getting it to work at first but thank god the nurse was very experienced and had me lay down for the blood draw. Using a port was way better than an IV. The needle was smaller and more comfortable. It allowed me to use both of my arms.

My blood work came back great. All of my white and red blood count numbers were at a normal level.

It was my first time wearing a wig to treatment and everyone loved it. My medical oncologist said she liked it better than my hair!

We will see how the second round goes. Hopefully I won’t have terrible symptoms.
