Starting to feel the effects.
This drug is nicknamed “Red Devil” due to the red color and its potent, yet potentially harmful, effects on the body. It’s a powerful drug used to treat various cancers, but it can also cause significant side effects, including cardiotoxicity, nausea, and hair loss
Receiving AC “red devil” chemo while pregnant has been so hard for me to wrap my brain around. It feels so wrong to receive this drug while pregnant. It is hard for me to believe that a drug so dangerous it cant be given intravenously can be okay for a fetus.
The side affects from this chemo have been pretty severe. I have expereinced heart issues, fatigue, hair loss, and incontinence. During the first day or two of my AC infusion I have to wear a depend because I can’t hold my pee.
