Learning to receive gifts of support.

I have been working at Harvest Bar + Kitchen in Clintonville since Spring of 2019. I knew from the beginning that it was a very special place to work. Not the actual building itself, it has caught fire twice and seems to be cursed at times.. Unlike the building that can be replaced, the community and staff that make up Harvest are irreplaceable. Not only are my coworkers the crème de la crème, they are some of my best friends.

My coworkers organized a benefit event that included a raffle, signiture cocktails, matching pink shirts and beautiful pink decorations. Many local businesses donated to the raffle including: Studio 35, Hollywood Feed, Highlife Tin Types and Middlewest Spirits.

It was great to see so many of our regular customers and friends attend this event. The company gifted me all of the proceeds and earnings from the evening. Including food and beverage sales, raffle earnings and tips. Words cannot express enough gratitude.
